The interior of all vehicles is maintained in a neat and orderly manner. Papers are gathered and held securely. Supplies and tools are kept from sliding or moving inside the vehicle. Any HIPPA-protected patient information is stored securely and follows HIPAA guidelines.

The interior of all delivery vehicles is cleaned and disinfected as directed by the organization’s infection control program no less than monthly and always following pick-up of a known contaminated item that could not be bagged.

The exterior of the vehicles is cleaned as needed and directed.

Germicidal cleaners and personal protective equipment (PPE) are retained for driver use and are kept following the manufacturer’s instructions.

The Company may track vehicle cleaning with a log or schedule, as required by management.
