5.4.1Equipment/Device Setup

The Company ensures that equipment/devices are set up correctly. Staff members set up items in a timely manner, either in the retail setting (as applicable) or as agreed upon by the patient/client and prescriber. Staff members entering a client residence respect the patient/client and his/her property and are knowledgeable about the equipment they set up and deliver. All equipment/products and services and provided in a safe and professional manner, staff ensures that the equipment/device is operating properly, contains all items that are necessary to operate the equipment or item and patient/client concerns are addressed before leaving the equipment and leaving the site.

An incident report may be filed if any of the following occurs during the delivery and setup of equipment.
- Patient furnishings are damaged
- Equipment is damaged
- Client/patient is injured
- Employee is injured during the loading or unloading of equipment
- Any unusual situation occurs during delivery
